The In-Between with Emily Kuvin
The CP Company is lucky to have Emily Kuvin back onstage for her second year. She brings a love and care for the pick to this year's event, leading the way as one of our stage directions readers, and we could not be in better hands. Speaking of hands, or elbows (ah hem), Emily has some clear criteria for her travel mates... be sure to share the armrest, people.
What was your first CP year? How were you involved (audience, actor, writer, producer, front of house, tech)?
Last year was my first CP year and I LOVED it! I acted and am excited to be on stage again this year.
How are you living - if at all - in a liminal space currently?
Aren’t we all just hoping it goes away/gets better?
Describe a time when you had absolutely no idea what would happen next?
When I was in labor with my first child.
What’s worse: the moment after a sharp inhale or before a long sigh?
That’s six of one, half a dozen of the other, right?
You’re stuck between two people in the middle seat on an airplane, buckled up for a long flight. Who are your ideal OR nightmare seatmates?
Ideal: Nice, considerate, polite, and friendly but not chatty. Does not usurp the armrest. Does not have to get up often.
Nightmare: Chews loudly, snores, takes over armrests, gets up often, smells less than pleasant.
Ice cream sandwich or deli sandwich? (Be specific)
Love both! But if I had to choose: deli sandwich with roast beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce and (non mealy) tomato, horseradish sauce on toasted rye. Cole slaw and kettle cooked potato chips on the side.
Don't miss Emily onstage for Med School Interview on Monday, July 13th.
