The In-Between with Eva Avenue

Eva hit CP running and any chance we get to have her on the scene we will grab it. When she's not making magic on the canvas, she is filling the Pick with more "f*ck yeah" than we can ever imagine. Now, that's what we call a true Picker.

Here’s what Eva had to say:

What was your first CP year? How were you involved (audience, actor, writer, producer, front of house, tech)?

My first year was 2023 front of house 💪

How are you living - if at all - in a liminal space currently?

I’ve gone part-time at my job and I’m also working toward wrapping it up for when I become a full-time artist in a few weeks. It’s so exciting because I get to live purely by my instincts and get to act on them and it makes me feel alive! But am not there yet. It is still an abstract.

Describe a time when you had absolutely no idea what would happen next?

Years ago, I went to the Albuquerque airport to fly to Philadelphia, but the flight was overbooked and they offered to fly me to Atlanta for an overnight stay, and then route me to Philly the next morning. My uncle and his family live in Atlanta so I was like “whoa, heck yeah!” And they sent me to Atlanta and when I got there, they had an extra ticket for Cirque du Soleil, which I’d never seen, so I went and it was f****** amazing😭

What’s worse: the moment after a sharp inhale or before a long sigh?

Sharp inhale. I secretly revel in the luxury of boredom or the release of anxiety that lets me produce a long sigh.

You’re stuck between two people in the middle seat on an airplane, buckled up for a long flight. Who are your ideal OR nightmare seatmates?

My nightmare seatmates are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. God help us all.

Ice cream sandwich or deli sandwich? (Be specific)

BEC with ketchup and too much black pepper. No salt - that’s already in the bacon. I’m also a sucker for a Chopped Cheese. When I have a bottle of habanero Tabasco on hand, I eat it with each bite.
