The In-Between with Ashley Lenox West

Ashley Lenox West started out as a CP superfan but quickly became a Picker in her own right. She joined the company in 2023 as both a playwright and an actor and we are so happy. Even better- she's back for CP26, ready to take another plunge as an actor.

What was your first CP year? How were you involved (audience, actor, writer, producer, front of house, tech)?

My first year was I believe 2022 (???) watching in the audience during tech because Clare rules.

How are you living - if at all - in a liminal space currently?

I am particularly nomadic at this moment in time. So I’m constantly in an in-between. And it's pretty chill.

Describe a time when you had absolutely no idea what would happen next?

Often. But isn’t that when life is the most fun?

What’s worse: the moment after a sharp inhale or before a long sigh?

The moment after a sharp inhale.

You’re stuck between two people in the middle seat on an airplane, buckled up for a long flight. Who are your ideal OR nightmare seatmates?

My ideal seat mates are Will Fletcher and Zach Fair. 

OR Kristen Wiig and Amy Poehler.

Ice cream sandwich or deli sandwich? (Be specific)

Turkey, ham, american cheese, lettuce, mayo, salt pepper hoagie. Hoagie cuz Philly. Go Birds.
