The In-Between with Erica Hager

Erica Hager hit the CP stage in 2016. What a year! We remember her first day back at 520 and our audiences are not only sure she has the chops- they can't wait to see what she is bringing this year. There is never enough Hager.

Here’s what Erica shared with us:

What was your first CP year? How were you involved (audience, actor, writer, producer, front of house, tech)?

2016 was my first year! As an actor.

How are you living - if at all - in a liminal space currently?

I’m living in a hard liminal space as I watch someone I love live in a terrifying liminal space.

Describe a time when you had absolutely no idea what would happen next?

When I walked into Ripley Grier Studios that day ten years ago for my first Cherry Picking rehearsal. I didn’t know if I still had any chops to do this acting thing.

What’s worse: the moment after a sharp inhale or before a long sigh?

After a sharp inhale. No question.

You’re stuck between two people in the middle seat on an airplane, buckled up for a long flight. Who are your ideal OR nightmare seatmates?

Ideal- someone who won’t mind that I squeeze the life out of their hand during take off. 

Nightmare- someone who isn’t kind and incredibly appreciative of the flight attendants.

Ice cream sandwich or deli sandwich? (Be specific)

Deli sandwich all day. Italian with oil, light on the hots,  or a really good Gyro where the bread is warm and soft.
